This is the walk for you if you want to see a lot of the big tourist stuff of London in one tour. You start at the Monument to the Great Fire of London, and then head to see the cutting edge technology of the Lloyd’s Building followed by the beautiful old Leadenhall Market (see photo). Then it’s past the city’s big historic buildings such as the Royal Exchange, Bank of England and Mansion House before seeing Bow Bells. Then you take a glass elevator ride (you can omit this if anyone suffers from vertigo) to see an amazing (and free) rooftop view of central London, which includes The Shard, Tate Modern, the London Eye, the Old Bailey and the Oxo Building. Then you head to the Guildhall, Shakespeare’s Bust, the Roman Wall, Postman’s Park and Christchurch Greyfriars before finishing at perhaps the greatest of all London’s landmarks, St Paul’s Cathedral.
