This walk takes you around Belgravia, which has remained pretty much the same for the past 200 years since it was built. We see where TV series Belgravia is set; where Upstairs Downstairs was set; and where some of Downton Abbey was set, and see locations used in those shows. You also see where many famous people have lived such Mrs Thatcher, Lord Mountbatten, Mary Shelley, various stars of stage and screen, and Lord Lucan (and where his infamous crime took place). You also hear of the history of the place from before the present houses were built, when it was a highwayman’s spot, to the present day where the super rich like to live. We also show you how the nuevo riche super-rich can upset the ‘old money’ who have lived here for generations.
