We start with a look at the Olympic stadium and swimming complex, which have been much altered since 2012 to begin their new lives in the community. We walk past the Orbit before making our way out of the Olympic Park to see the ‘Ikea’ torch and walk along a canal area which the Olympics has changed beyond all recognition. We see a planned luxury complex and a newly built canalside park en-route to charming 18th century mills that have also been changed forever by the Olympics. We then walk along a river and through another park to more Olympic infrastructure, and then take a short tube journey to another major Olympic venue before riding London’s biggest White Elephant as the grand finale to the walk.
